Shayne Dey There’s an imperfection to this album which I love. Can’t fault the riffs and the swinging groove but the guitar melodies are quite unique in places and sound to my ear at least off beat but it’s this imperfection I find endearing. Quite a journey this album, one that grows with each repeated listen.
Favorite track: The Desert Shows No Mercy.

Bucky Ragingly numbing progressive, and intricately heavy groove flow together nonchalantly creating a beautifully alternative heaviness. Cannot stop playing this record.Absolutely fantastic! Favorite track: Fire Moth.

Undergroundhero The Ravenna Arsenal, from Ohio state, are most definitely an arsenal to contend with in the world of heavy rock. Their album, simply entitled " I.", may just be one of few records from 2013 taking heavy rock into different directions.

They mix liberal doses of metal & stoner, but aren't afraid to use experimental elements such as psych & prog to flavor their exciting mixture of sound.

This album is for heavy rock fans looking to expand their horizons beyond what is known.

Harry Harrison ‘I’ is a big wall of thumping sound that drives harder than a supercar on nitrous and is best listen to LOUD. Vocals range from guttural yells and out of harmony choruses to some very decent stoner singing. Don’t get me wrong; the tone of voice perfectly suits the music requirements and some of the requirements called for are quite colossal. The main thing about this album that captured me was the flowy guitar harmonies and the immense soundscape the band delivers. Truly phenomenal stuff. Favorite track: The Sun.

about

The Ravenna Arsenal Kent, Ohio

Not to be confused with The Ravenna Training & Logistics Facility, The Ravenna Arsenal is a seasoned, well-oiled, war machine from the overcast
lands of Northeast Ohio. Bold riffs, 21,000 plus acres in size, rumble and whirlwinds of magical frequencies sweep you into another dimension,
far away from the objective world.
